Filibuster – Senator Rand Paul

On 6th March 2013, Republican Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky began a talking filibuster intended to halt the appointment of John Brennan to be the new CIA chief over his concerns about the American use of drones.

Rand soon found himself under attack from members of his own party, and keeping company with left-wing campaigners against drones Code Pink.
